About Caroline Koppelman, Founder of TKG
Founder and CEO Caroline Koppelman started TKG at the age of 19 after she discovered she had a unique, innate understanding of the college application process. Every family member and friend whose application she touched gained admission to their number one school, and once those Stanford and Harvard acceptance letters came in, she knew she needed to start a business.
Caroline has overseen rapid, substantial growth of the company over the last decade. Students from all over the world have benefitted from her intuitive understanding of what colleges want.
Her holistic approach to college applications help students combat the ever-decreasing acceptance rates at top institutions. By mirroring the system by which admissions committees review and score applications, Caroline has cracked the code to help each student stand out against the crowd.
As the CEO, Caroline is responsible for creating each student’s unique strategy and remains hands-on through the entire process with each client. Caroline has helped students gain admission to Harvard, Princeton, Yale, Dartmouth, Cornell, University of Pennsylvania, Columbia, Brown, Stanford, Washington University in St. Louis, NYU, UCLA, University of Michigan, UNC Chapel Hill, Georgetown, and more. Caroline studied Politics, Philosophy, and Economics at The University of Pennsylvania.
